CARIBE stands for Career Recruitment and Instruction in Basic English. The CARIBE Program is an Adult Education project of Hillsborough County School District that provides English language, General Educational Development (GED), and HiTEC post-secondary adult vocational (PSAV) training to recent Cuban, Haitian, and other entrants with legal, documented refugee or asylee status.
