ELIGIBILITY

Welcome to CARIBE,

I'm Ronald Cruz, the Administrative Coordinator of the CARIBE Refugee Program. I would like to personally welcome you to our web page. The CARIBE Refugee Program takes pride in providing excellent adult education services to refugees, asylees and parolees resettled within Hillsborough County, Florida.

The CARIBE Refugee Program is sponsored by the Florida Department of   Children and Families, Refugee Services Program, and is funded solely with grants from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Refugee Resettlement. CARIBE is part of the Hillsborough County School District Adult Education Program, headed by the Director of Adult Education, Mr. Marc Hutek.

This web page is specifically designed to increase community awareness, disemminate information to our students, facilitate intake and enrollment process, and improve the lines of communication with clients. The CARIBE Refugee Program does not service all immigrants in Hillsborough County. Therefore, we help clients determine whether they are eligible for our program. Please take a moment to fill out the form below. Our office will contact you by phone or email to answer your eligibility questions.

Sincerely,

Ronald Cruz

Administrative Coordinator

To determine your eligiblity please indicate your country of origin, date of arrival in the United States and immigration status code indicated in your I-95 (Arrival/Departure Record). A response or a call from one of our intake counselors does not constitute eligibility in our program. Only upon further examination of immigration documents (passport, I-94, drivers license, social security card, referral letter, and/or parole card) can intake counselors determine eligibility in our program.
